Monday, March 3 Sleep HealthCenters Open House Brighton, MA
The Sleep HealthCenter associated with Brigham and Women’s Hospital will be hosting an open house for those interested in learning more about the facility, its services and sleep in general. Dr. John Winkelman, Medical Director of the Sleep HealthCenter associated with Brigham and Women’s Hospital, will be on hand to answer all your sleep-related questions and Claudia Toth, PhD, will be available to discuss the Insomnia Treatment Program. Respiratory therapists will show CPAP equipment and sleep technicians will be in the laboratory to explain the process of having a sleep study. Refreshments will be provided.

Dr. Cynthia Dorsey, Director of Behavioral Sleep Medicine at Sleep HealthCenters will provide an overview of the basics of sleep. Find out how much sleep you really need, what happens when you sleep and why we sleep at all. Dr. Dorsey will share tips for getting a good night’s sleep, review normal and abnormal sleep behaviors, and provide guidelines to help determine when you may need to see a doctor about a sleep problem.
