From the North
From Route 1A (Logan Airport)
Follow Route 1A to the Sumner Tunnel (there will be a toll). Take the tunnel to 93 North. Take exit 26 to Storrow Drive. Once on Storrow Drive get into the left lane until exit "Government Center/Kendall Square." You will pass the Storrow Lot, which does not have Handicap or stroller access. If you do not require this special access, please use this lot. Otherwise, continue onto the exit ramp. Go through the flashing light and take a U-turn at the next light immediately following. You will now be at a third light looking straight at two ramps to get back onto Storrow Drive (eastbound and westbound ramps). Just before the westbound ramp on the left you will see the entrance to our Charles Lot. The HP access ramp is at the far right corner of the lot.
From Interstate 93
Follow Interstate 93 into the city. Take exit 26 to Storrow Drive. Once on Storrow Drive get into the left lane until exit "Government Center/Kendall Square." You will pass the Storrow Lot, which does not have Handicap or stroller access. If you do not require this special access, please use this lot. Otherwise, continue onto the exit ramp. Go through the flashing light and take a U-turn at the next light immediately following. You will now be at a third light looking straight at two ramps to get back onto Storrow Drive (eastbound and westbound ramps). From Route 1 (Tobin Bridge)
Take Route 1 to Boston and over the Tobin Bridge. Approximately 1 mile after the toll booth you will go left at the fork of Interstate 93 South. Take exit 26 to Storrow Drive. Once on Storrow Drive get into the left lane until exit "Government Center/Kendall Square." You will pass the Storrow Lot, which does not have Handicap or stroller access. If you do not require this special access, please use this lot. Otherwise, continue onto the exit ramp. Go through the flashing light and take a U-turn at the next light immediately following. You will now be at a third light looking straight at two ramps to get back onto Storrow Drive (eastbound and westbound ramps). From the South
From Interstate 95
Follow Interstate 95 until junction with Route 128. Follow signs for Boston/Route 3 North/Interstate 93 North into the city. Take exit 26 to Storrow Drive. From Route 3
Follow Route 3 North until it merges with Interstate 93 North. Take 93 North into the city of Boston. Take exit 26 to Storrow Drive. Once on Storrow Drive get into the left lane until exit "Government Center/Kendall Square." You will pass the Storrow Lot, which does not have Handicap or stroller access. If you do not require this special access, please use this lot. Otherwise, continue onto the exit ramp. Go through the flashing light and take a U-turn at the next light immediately following. From the West
From the Mass Turnpike
Follow the Mass Turnpike East until exit"Brighton/Cambridge." After the toll, stay in the right hand lane. Bear right at sign for "Cambridge/Boston/Somerville"(exit 18). At the first traffic light, take a right onto Storrow Drive. Follow signs for Boston. Take exit "Government Center/Kendall Square, Cambridge." Stay in the left lane off the exit ramp. After traffic light, take a left under elevated subway tracks. Just beyond the tracks to the left is the entrance to the Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary parking lot. The HP access ramp is at the far right corner of the lot.
From Route 2
Follow Route 2 East to Storrow Drive. On Storrow Drive, follow signs for Boston. Follow signs for Boston. Take exit "Government Center/Kendall Square, Cambridge." Stay in the left lane off the exit ramp. After traffic light, take a left under elevated subway tracks. Just beyond the tracks to the left is the entrance to the Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary parking lot. The HP access ramp is at the far right corner of the lot.
Directions to Main Infirmary by Subway
Note: When exiting the station, go across the crosswalk and turn left to go up the stairs to the catwalk. The Infirmary is located on the right just beyond the old jail at the corner of Charles and Fruit Streets.
Red Line
Take the train to Charles Station. Exit the platform, walk through the turnstile, and turn right. Walk across the skywalk and proceed straight ahead. The Liberty Hotel is on the right. The Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary is located just beyond the hotel at the corner of Charles and Fruit Streets.
Green Line
Take the train to Park Street Station. Exit the platform and walk downstairs to the Northbound/Harvard/Alewife Red Line platform. Take the Red Line train to Charles Station. Exit the platform, walk through the turnstile, and turn right. Walk across the skywalk and proceed straight ahead. The Liberty Hotel is on the right. The Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary is located just beyond the hotel at the corner of Charles and Fruit Streets.
Orange Line
Take the train to Downtown Crossing Station. Exit the platform and walk downstairs to the Northbound/Harvard/Alewife Red Line platform. Take the Red Line train to Charles Station. Exit the platform, walk through the turnstile, and turn right. Walk across the skywalk and proceed straight ahead. The Liberty Hotel is on the right. The Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary is located just beyond the hotel at the corner of Charles and Fruit Streets.
Blue Line
Take the train to Government Center Station. Exit the platform, walk upstairs, and take the Green Line (Westbound/Park Street) to Park Street Station. Exit the platform and walk downstairs to the Northbound/Harvard/Alewife Red Line platform. Take the Red Line train to Charles Station. Exit the platform, walk through the turnstile, and turn right. Walk across the skywalk and proceed straight ahead. The Liberty Hotel is on the right. The Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary is located just beyond the hotel at the corner of Charles and Fruit Streets.
Parking and Valet Services
Valet parking is available for $12 at the main entrance on Fruit Street. This service is provided to patients and their visitors. Do not leave your ticket in your car. Please note all parking tickets must be processed in the MEEI lobby before returning to your vehicle.
Valet parking drop-offs are accepted from 6:30 am until 3:30 pm and can be retreived at all times.
